Upside Down Goldfinch Feeder

Upside Down Goldfinch Feeder

Goldfinches, goldfinches, goldfinches. This feeder is made just for them. The upside down design of this feeders means that goldfinches are one of the only birds that will comfortably eat from these perches. What a perfect way to see more of area goldfinches!

Details

Goldfinches will have little competition for the food at this lightweight little feeder because most birds just can't feed upside down. The six perches on this feeder actually sit above the feeding ports, which is perfect for goldfinches. Not so much for other seed-eating birds like house sparrows.

Worried about squirrels? This Upside Down Goldfinch Feeder also has a squirrel-resistant metal cap to keep squirrels from gnawing away at the top of the bird seed feeder.

To attract goldfinches, fill this feeder up with thistle, nyjer or a finch mixture that they are sure to like. The 18 inch tall feeding tube can hold up to 2 pounds of bird seed, so you won't refill it as often as smaller feeders. This feeder may be lightweight but it is a great value!
